Hello!! I'm ducky/melody, a freelance illustrator who enjoys creating my own narratives. I enjoy doing character illustration and now and again, making comics/sequential art that people can connect with and feel seen by!

  • Original characters

  • Detailed characters (DnD, FFXIV etc.)

  • Fanart

  • Animals and people (but not in a realistic style!)

  • soft nsfw (lingerie, light nudity)

⋆ WON'T DO

  • NSFW content (anything sexually explicit)

  • Furries/Anthro characters

  • Illegal/fetish content

  • Hateful/discriminatory content

  • Gore-y content

  • Complex mecha

YOU MAY

  • You may print your commissioned artwork to display in a private setting, or even print it on a clothing item that is only made for you and to wear and not mass produced.

  • You may give the artwork (digital or printed) as a gift to a friend.

  • You may repost your commissioned artwork on social media platforms with proper credit and linked back to me (linking back to my twitter, such as tagging me, is ok!)

  • You may use the artwork as your profile picture, social media header, phone wallpaper etc, so long as you properly credit me if used online and as long as any website/app you display it on is a PERSONAL, non-commercial website/account.

YOU MAY NOT

  • You may not take credit for the artwork or design I have created for you and claim as your own.

  • You may not reproduce, monetise, sell to a third party or create merchandise of the artwork I have created UNLESS it was commissioned for commercial use.

  • You may not edit my artwork other than cropping for social media.

  • You may not use any block-chain technology such as minting/turning my art into NFTs or exchange it for crypto currency.

  • You may not use my art for training in any AI programs or the generation of any form of AI art.

general notes

  • Additional accessories, complex/intricate character designs will incur extra charges depending on complexity (€10 - €15). I will inform you of this if it applies to your commission.

  • Client will receive a google drive link with the high-res image(s), watermarked and unwatermarked, once I am finished and everything has been approved.

  • You may request for revision(s) and edits as necessary during the approval stages. Request for complex edits/changes or complex/complete revisions after completion will incur extra charges.

  • If time is spent on changes and options for designs, the total price will stay the same even if the changes are discarded and the original concept is chosen.

  • I do not accept rush commissions.

  • I do not accept commissions asking to mimic another artist's style.

  • I retain ownership of all development work and discarded concepts.

  • I have the right to refuse a commission if I think that it isn't suitable for me.

PAYMENT PROCESS

  • Once interest has been confirmed and payment has been discussed and agreed upon, the client will receive a paypal invoice via email which will be paid upfront in full.

  • Clients will have one week to pay the invoice.

  • Once payment has been received, I will start the commission.

  • WIPs will be sent out for feedback and you may make 1-2 edits in each stage. Once a piece has been completed, however, I will not be making additional edits for free.

  • If additional edits are required after the piece has been finished and not prior during WIP stages, it must be paid for.

  • Price of edits will be a % of the total price, depending on complexity and price of commission as I would have to go back and spend additional time to make the changes requested.

  • You are eligible for a full refund if you cancel before I start your commission-- but do be aware that Paypal may keep a small part of the payment due to fees.

  • If you request a refund after I have started your commission, you will be partially refunded based on the progress I have made. You may only request a partial refund during the sketch phase.

  • Once I have completed your commission or if I'm near completion, you may not ask for refunds.

TURNAROUND

  • My turn-around time is roughly 3-4 weeks, depending on commission type, but I may finish earlier or later depending on work load.

  • If there are any changes, I will be transparent and let you know! This is to ensure I don't burn out or injure myself and also so that you're not left in the dark regarding your commission status!

  • There will be 2 - 3 approval stages where I will send WIPs for feedback.

  • To know whose commission I'm currently working on and which pieces are work-in-progress and/or completed, please check my queue!
